I do not know where you are located. I just looked in the Yellow Pages for Oakland California. I found at least 20 bankruptcy attorneys who would do either a free telephone consultation or hour office consultation. Some of these attorneys have their own websites.

Nolo Press is online. They publish a "Money Troubles" book. It is excellent. If you are considering bankruptcy, the read the Nolo book "Bankruptcy: Is It the Right Solution to Your Debt Problems?" The Nolo Press website has a feature called "Ask Auntie Nolo." I'm not sure how that feature works.
