There is no debating "Carl's" business sense. A leader in his chosen profession his innovations are the business models of many modern corporations. Keep your cash close. Let the predatory collectors exhaust themselves in search of what they will never glean. Mr. Gambino never had any troubles with the IRS nor for that matter with any scabies CA's. By all accounts his one self-indulgence was procuring vanity tags "CG-1" for his modest Buick sedan. None violated the sanctity of his home in search of 'bread'. Not even "Bud" Reitzel. Deny these swine that which they most covet.

PS - Different from the all-or-nothing approach taken by OC's and CA's regarding debt negotiation, "Carl" Gambino was admiringly known as a ready negotiator, many a time securing the safe return of employees kidnapped and held for high-dollar ransom by rival corporate staffers. Known for his kindly smile, he believed in reasoning with one's adversary, resorting to other measures as last resort and only when human life itself, not mere money, was at issue. Though readers of this board surely see the signifigance, CA and OC types will remain forever peplexed by this little sermonette given their all-consuming greed. Like swine over the cliff, it shall prove to be their undoing.
