Collect America buys recent charge offs for around 10 cents on the dollar and farms them out to collection agencies around the country that “rent” some lawyer’s law license. That way some brain dead collector can say he is senior litigation consultant “blow hard” calling on behalf of attorney “pompous ass” and if you don’t pay they’ll proceed with lawsuits, garnishment, and liens. All the attorneys on that list are Collect America rent a lawyers. Soffar’s only passed the bar in Texas so he can’t sue you in AR, but the collection goons will certainly make you think he can.
