dealing with ameridebt

I have filed a complaint with the BBB on ameridebt, they recently contacted me thru the mail saying they cannot reach me at my home phone please call them. So I called them and got there ususal spin. They said that they can submit a request for a refund of what I thought I deserve but dont count on it after about 35 minutes of trying to negotate with them. I got the figures together tried to call them back and got voice mail, I would of had the figures but I didnt know what they wanted at the time they sent the letter as I have recently withdrew from the program and thought they wanted me to rejoin.
I plan to pay OC with any money from them. Any advice on how to deal with them. I know this is a bit off the subject but if they can pay me the 5k they drove me further into debt that would help alot.
