Just when I think it's the worst. Today on the same fax machine for everyone in the office to see - just a few moments ago I got a letter from this law office stating how much I owe, how much they will settle for, that it is being reviewed for potential legal action. Now, not only am I aware of this - so is everyone that I work with. Can they legally just start sending faxes with this information on them to a number that they have somehow gotten? This is a public state office where EVERY transmission over the fax machine is public record. There is a confidentiality note on their cover sheet - does that protect them?
