What is this person's position in the hospital? The billing dept.? Did you send everything to the legal dept?

OK- here is what you do,make copies of ALL the correspondence,including the money orders. Fill out the HIPAA complaint form, stating that the OC is in violation of the privacy act by refusing to accept your payments in order to continue the dissemination of your private medical data to unauthorized 3rd party collection agencies who continue publication on your credit reports of private medical information without your consent.

Send a copy of the complaint to the LEGAL dept.of the Hospital, together with all the copies of the correspondnce and money orders.

Send this with a cover letter to the legal dept. stating you are sending this to them as a courtesy, prior to your filing the complaint in 10 days.Give your name, address and telephone #. If they don't respond, file the complaint.
