The time to negotiate tradelines is when you have something they want. You refinanced and now they have you where they want you. Did you refinance your home with them? IF so, you have turned unsecured debt into secured debt. Never do that because it could jeopardize your house. It is too late but for future people who may be interested.

Never refinance your home and use that equity to pay off credit card debt. By doing so, you only convert unsecured debt into secured debt and you may put your home at risk.
