THANK YOU!! SO MUCH!! I got to admit i wsa kinda worried about what might happen. They have tried to scare me before and everytime they tell me something along the lines of seeing me in court. But this time the salary thing took me by surprise! well to answer each question. ---How much is the debt in this case? Also, how'd this come up in the conversation? -the debt is for $4080.98 -i was transfered to her, because a pror arrangement did not fall though. I made an agreement to pay 40 a month for half of the total debt ($1836) for the next 3 years or so, until the debt (of $1836) was paid off. When i tried to reach the person i originally talked to she was "no longer working with the company"(this was 2 weeks prior). I tried to explaine to them that the arrangement i had with the first person i had and they said it was ludacris that such an arrangment had been made and transferred me to their "supervisor". Once I was transferred to her, i was quickly told all this information (it's like she was set in automatic) and we hardly spoke about any arrangment we had or if the person i originally spoke to was there or was not. ---When did you last pay the orginal creditor? -Dont know the exact time, but the year was 2000. ---Proving insolvency isn't all that hard - it means you have more debt than you do assets. -Good to hear cause im a student and the only thing that i kinda own (still making payments) is my car. Once again THANK SO MUCH!! i forgot to answer one last question about my friend from New Jersey. I believe he was summon to court but he never showed up. He is still dodging all the creditors and has never tried to pay them back! hehe He works as a bartender so the money they did take out of his bank AND his salary/ income all totaled around 80 dollars. He never picks-up the phone without checking the caller ID first. And if he does by acciedent he just pretends that he (pretends to be another person) moved away and that there is no one by that name at that residence. Also i wanted to ask how do i prove that i have insolvency? Who do i talk to ? where do i go? when do i have to do this? Sorry for the 20 questions but i never had to deal with this problem before so i need to learn now. :) thank YOU!
