If you were still paying the OC in 04/2001- it means that the OC LEGALLY re-aged your account by bringing it up to date at some point after your earlier "late" payments.

Unless you have copies of all your bills from 1999-2001 and they ALL show, "past due" or a similar notation, then you are within SOL.

There is another possibility (if you have your credit card statements from that period)-- that would be if they sent you a statement saying that they were "freezing" your account by reducing your current credit limit to below what you currently owed. You can present this as evidence of a "constructive breach" of contract on their part ( the OC ) and IF that happened before 1999, you can still claim SOL.
