Should I start paying again?

I have been reading this message board takingin all of your great advice and trying to figure out what to do about my own problems. I haven't paid my discover card bill in about 2.5 yrs. (when I was in college) Now I am out, and the bill was about 900$ when I stopped paying. I could probably pay off the money plus interest in about two payments now that postcollege I have a real job. How do I go about doing this? i read on WhyChat's website that the statute of limitations in Iowa (where I went to college, now live in Illinois) is five years so they could probably sue me at anytime. What do I do? I made some pretty stupid decisions in college and am now finding out the repercutions of my actions (they should make credit counseling at universities mandatory! those cc co's prey on the college students!) Please help as I am now finally (too late) getting stressed about this!
