How do you find out if a CA bought an account prior to filing for a judgment on behalf of Providian? The monthly payments are going directly to the CA and not Providian. I also wrote a letter to the CA explaining that I could only pay $100 a month and I received nothing back from the CA stating it was not enough. I paid every month on time for 14 months and then they seized my bank account and took $1600. This bounced all my checks. What can I do to find out if the CA bought the account prior to filing for judgment. Can I sue because they Acquiesced by cashing my checks and didn't send me anything stating $100 a month was not enough.
