Well, it is never a good idea to send a CA a payment by check. They are known for doing this kind of thing. Hope you have closed that checking account. Might be a good idea not to have a checking account for awhile. If you have any other bank accounts, run to the bank and withdrawl your money. Interest adds up so quickly that you can owe much more money than you realize. If you were not aware of the judgement, then you were probably not served properly. That is one defense. I think Why Chat can give you better answers.
