Well, I'd like to contact the original creditor and let them know that I'd like to pay them, but I just can't pay now (not for another 2 years, actually ... when I graduate). Can the original creditor stop the collection agency harassment? Will that kind of letter to the original creditor re-establish my SOL with the original creditor?
