my son in laws loans r gov and if u dont pay or get a extension..they can take ur income tax refunds until its paid. and wages. its one of the few here in texas u have to repay in some form. it cant be discharged on BK either. call and ask ...they will send u a form to complete to allow it to wait a year at a time..my kids do this..altho it accrues interest..depends on who u borrowed from..good luck to u.
