My answer simply was that I lacked knowledge about the truth and therefore deny the statements; I admitted I was a citizen, legal age, etc; and denied charges, etc. Then I requested that the lawsuit be dismissed and that a judgment be entered against the plaintiff for any set-off, costs or attorney's fees. Did I total mess up with my answer?

Do you think that he's just hoping that I won't show up in court so he will get a default judgment? Do I take my settlement offer if and when we go to court?

I was going by LadynRed's post on Jan 7 to nelsh where she was talking about having previous settlement offers in writing and proof that the attorney received them and refused.

I don't know what I would do if I hadn't found this forum. You all are wonderful.
