CA pukepots will sue on SOL debt, why not? Most folks haven't the foggiest idea there's an SOL. During 'mediation' in Small Shams Court such as we done gots down dis a way heahhr in Flo-ree-duh, the CA vomit-bunny lawyer and his comfort boy, Mr. - ha ha ha - Impartial Mediator will try to slick the debtor into signing papers acknowledging the debt thus restarting SOL.
Of course, those who read this board know the golden rules when dealing with predatory mutant blood-ticks. Touch no one, say little, put nothing in writing. Tell 'em nothing, let 'em guess the rest. Do that in mediation and you'll leave them unhappy, calling you icky names, uttering threats against your firstborn. A sure sign you've won.
When sued on SOL debt you have an absolute defense, the suit is time-barred due to SOL. Judge Cracker might try one last trick in favor ot the creditor, saying, "Ahh jes' don' care, son. You done owes de muneee and you alll gots ta pays it." Or some such eloquence. Forget it, the debt is gone, the suit is time barred, you can countersue probably win more than you owe.
These 'people' are criminals of a higher functional level. Instead of gun and pry bar they carry briefcases and bottles of Kaopectate. Let 'em have it. Legally, twixt their poxy covetous eyeballs.

Briefly,
Keyser Soze
