Restarting the SOL

Did I restart the SOL. Here's what happened, (but keep in mind, the CA's filed after the SOL expired) My Bank informed me that there was a freeze on my account. I called the CA to find out what was going on, the CA scared me so bad when they demanded more money because the amount I had in the bank would not cover the debt. In panic I sent the CA's a check for 25.00 telling them this was all I could afford to pay monthly. The following month, the Judge granted them the money I had in the bank. Did paying this $25.00 restart the SOL, even though they filed duit against me after the SOL had expired?
