Quite frankly, the SOL doesn't come into play here from what you've posted.

It is apparently that you've already been sued, and lost, and they have a judgment against you. With that judgment, they can garnish wages (if your state allows) and they can sieze your bank account and any other non-exempt assets.

Once there's a judgment in place, the legal SOL means squat - unless you can get the judgment vacated and then they'd have to start all over again.
