Credit dispute question

I have a charge off currently being disputed on my CR. My scores have jumped about 50 points. Im wondering if this jump in score is just due to it being disputed. Im hoping the answer is no but im afraid this is just temoporary and will go back down depending on the dispute outcome. Does anyone know if this is the case? Also im wondering if there is a estimate as to how much monthly on time payments to my credit cards can effect my scores....on a monthly basis if possible? thanks for the great site and all the help....Soapy
