it is my understanding any CA can "try" to collect 4ver. . hoping u dont know the law... they can try to sue but its easily dismissed using the SOL. i would think sending a letter so they know ur rights would quiet that down. a judgement can be renewed 4ever should they want but only by the original suing party. ie; they cant start another lawsuit unless u ignore it and they get a default..why anyone would do that knowing i have no idea lol. basically i think they can try --and will try--anything illegal or legal hoping someone doesnt know their rights..and usually cause a huge hassle for u to stop them. scum indeed! i mean robbing a bank is illegal but people try it every day. laws r nice if only everyone abided by them. collection people will not.
