i cant afford a lawyer!

what about those of us who cant AFFORD to get a lawyer? none here work on contingency..and none even have a free session. i for one..if i could afford a lawyer i would have paid my accounts! it may be my debt but i totally have no clue how it has tripled and more in 6 months. i want to know every cent they say i owe and how they got there. in writing.
