What state are you in? You have usually a grace period to respond before they take further legal action like freezing the accounts after getting judgments. This is to allow for a person to appeal if they feel that the case has not been heard. Since they have a judgment, your only choices are to settle and make payment arrangements or file for bankruptcy.
