I have heard of Credigy here on this board. They are a scum 3rd party collection agency. My strategy was to ignore these CAs. I mean I did not answer my phone, I did not respond to mail. I did however, have a plan. I had early legal advice, and when I was sued I simply filed chapter 7. Out of approximaely 10 cards, only one actually sued. Your chances of not being sued are really quite good. CAs at this level, lie and threaten, and blow a lot of smoke. IGNORE THEM.
