You need to get a copy of the judgment to see what court it was obtained in. Then you need to get a copy of what was filed in that court case to see how they "served" your husbadn with the complaint. Service may be defective if they served an adult at an address that your husband did not live at at the time of service. If the judgment is for a lot of money, they may have served him by publishing notive in the newspaper by claiming they didn't know where he lived.
