BULL! BULL! BULL! They are playing a headgame with you now. IT is called DIVIDE and CONQUER. Of course they can discuss it with you. Why would your husband tell them anything differently. They want to imply something different because the psychology is to get you mad and pumped up and to pit you against each other. All they need is one of you to pay the debt and they are going to play you and your family against each other until they pay. Why are you even answering the phone? If you can't pay, don't talk to them. They will play games, try to ruin your family and suggest lies and all sorts of things. IT IS CALLED THE GOOD GUY/BAD GUY game.
