BK might be a consideration in the future but not for right now as we don't have health insurance (aside - a BCBX no-frills normal hmo family policy for self-employed in MA is $1300 month and it's the only plan available). I would like to wait until I have health insurance again, at least to cover the kids, before filing BK, just in case we end up with extra-ordinary medical expenses too. Until I read this board I had planned to offer settlements to CAs when the tech job market came back and I got another contract but after reading these boards I'm not sure settlements with CAs is the right thing to do.
