Hey
In 1999 we signed our then 5 yr old son up for karate classes. We were paying $99/month and had signed a contract for the full term of the program which came out to like $1700. He was in this class for a few months but kept getting extremely bad asthma attacks every time we went to class. He even contracted pnuemonia during this time period. I explained this to the owner who said no problem and we stopped attending class...long story short a few months later we started getting phone calls from a collections agency. We settled with doctors notes and a letter from us stating what happened. Today I receive a phone call from the place that held the contract in the first place, stating that we still are indebted to them and to pay up. I explained this to the woman "Ebony" and she hung up on me. Should we be concerned??? I live in NJ and the SOL is 6 yrs.
