If you paid in full a cc charge off with my office the entry would have been charged off-paid.
We collect for the client and they are the ones that update the trade lines.
Since we do not report our own trade lines we have no power to change one placed by the OC.

Utility companies will not budge, I remember paying paying in full a 179.00 for my husband when I was settling his accounts. They would not even delete it three months early.
The only good thing about the utility bill was they never added any interest to the original amount.
