Who is ENCORE Receivable Management? got aletter from them today about my Discover charge-off. They said my account was referred to them for collection. I just talked to a lady on the phone less than a week ago that said she was with discover, and my hardship program was stopped. (They stopped it not me, I was paying every month.) Took less than week for them to give it to someone else? They didn't even give me time to answer if I could do a settlement for 30%. I have all the papaerwork that states when the hardship program started and how long it would last, with their leterhead on it. I also have statements of payments from them I made, and my bank, that I paid as agreed. Won't this prove in court they renigged? plus I was playing them and they didn't WANT my money. They piss me off so bad. They had no reason to cancel that. Wasn't my set amount better than 0, which is what they will get now.
