Chargeoff

Can an OC chargeoff an account after 180 days? Or is it considered chargedoff if it's not on your CR.
I'm having a problem verifying this because it's beyond the 7 years and the CRA's cannot help me.

Also, does the SOL start after the chargeoff? The account was delinquent.

Whychat's site is very helpful for this information, but this may be a legal matter and I need to show where I got this information. I trust Whychat's word, but the Judge maynot.
