I recently have received a letter stating that I owe a debt. I was disputing the debt originally because I believe that I paid off the account. I faxed over receipts showing payments that I have made but then the company started saying that I owed for this account and also another one that isn't even mine. I requseted that they provide proof of both of these debts owed and they have yet to do so but they placed both of the debts on my credit. Is there a letter that I can send requesting proof of the accounts and what do I do if Experian refuses to remove the debt?
