Write to Telechexks & CheX Sytems, get a copy of those reports and see if there is anything derrogative.
If you see the old bank with NSF then most likely you won't be able to obtain a checking account, now days all banks check your check writing history.
I knwo of some banks that do not check ur history though they are mostly online, all transactions by mail.
