They're full of crap in more ways than one !

They make a lot of nasty threats (I had to deal with them over a year ago), but they're full of swamp gas. I DV'd them and they disappeared - they couldn't be bothered with someone who wasn't going to just cave in.

The threat of them suing you is crap too. The last message (illegal as hell) they left me said ' you better get a lawyer, you're going to need one!'. Guess what - NOTHING HAPPENED. Don't fall for their tactics and threats. The regularly ignore the FDCPA and violate it with abandon.

An unsecured debt suddenly and mysteriosly becoming secured ?? NOT !! The ONLY way that would even be CLOSE to happening is if they'd already won a judgment and placed a lien on your property !! Unsecured debts do NOT become secured in any other way. Another blatant lie - and a violation - misrepresenting the character and legal status of the debt.

Garnish all but $125 ?? NOT !! In most states, the MOST they can get is 25% of your take home pay, and only then if your state allows garnishment. More LIES !

If you truly want to settle, do so in writing only and negotiate for how its reported. I would NEVER take food off the table to pay slime like this.
