Ok, I had a foreclosure in 12/1998. Actual last payment was probably June of July 1998. I never disputed this at all, but had never gotten reported to Experian for some reason (Thank GOD) and while disputing something else, TransUnion deleted it without my asking them to. Now, I just got my report again, and Equifax has it listed with a DOLA as 8/1997, not 1998. My question is, how soon can I dispute this as obsolete. I know the 7 years will be up this August based on Equifax's date, but if I could get if off even sooner, that'd be great. Anyone ever successfully dispute as obsolete before the 7 years was actually up?
