Hi, I filed chaper 7 about a year ago. This is my experience for what it's worth. I live in PA. My house was exempt (tenants by the entirety) our car was exempt. I don't really know why. All electronics including computer were exempt. I had to list everything in the house, but my attorney told me that the value of any one item could not exceed 400.00. (garage sale prices) Even my dog was listed as an asset, but was not problem. Bottom line, unless you are importing art from Europe, they are not interested. Don' worry, it isn't a bad experience.
