Oo I seemed to have rubbed you the wrong way. You are not answering the question. You are making him try to pay with your crappy advice. The creditors will back off when it comes to fraud. You may have noticed the push lately in the fcra for identity theft victims. Creditors will not blindly rush in to collect from such an obvious victim to just run into a lawsuit from this victim.
