You didn't mention receiving a summons or being sued. They have to sue you and win to get a judgement. If you are working with them even a little they probably don't have a lot of incentive to sue yet.

I'm going through the lawsuit dance with Citibank right now. It is pretty daunting but there seems to be a glimmer of hope.

It sounds like you have a pretty good process going. If it's working for you, continue to refine it. Please share your experience with the board. There are a lot of people that have gone through this to help you out.

I'm on a bit different path than you only in the fact that I have already been sued and am taking the OJT crash course in self-representitive law.
