Any FDCPA violation complaints or letters to the collection agent would have to be from the debtor (you) not your mother, and that would obviously defeat your purpose of keeping your whereabouts a secret .

She can tell them she is filing a complaint with the FTC and the abuse dept. of her telephone company for electronic harrassment, and DO SO.She is NOT the debtor, so she CAN file THOSE complaints.

Or she can get caller id or an answering machine and not speak to them at all.
