MBNA Misery is correct.. Debt Settlement Company's hurt your credit more than help it.. They may be a couple of Legit ones, I do not know, but the Companies that MBNA, Citi, ect will not work with are the ones who just take your payments that you send to them, collect interest on them until all of your accounts are charged off or are give to the legal departments of the Credit Card Companies.. A lot of the Debt Settlement's Clients do not realize that they are not making any payments to the creditors..until it is to late.
