"paid in full" still ruins ur credit. u paid someone u dont owe the debt too for nothing helpful but someones salary. the right thing is yes one does owe the original amount. i dont see i owe this crap they tack on. legal or not. legal means nothing in most things but a way someone gets out of a loophole. dont give me i signed something i didnt read. yes i did and i learned better. we all have. just cause legally they can screw us doesnt make it right. also i have no clue what a intel letter is but i would pay how i wanted. if they didnt like it tough. im not here to make friends with abusers and liars. just my 2 cents*. im not calling u one..im calling the ones i deal with that. and u sure teach me a lot..btw. ty. u give great insight on how these companies work and think. and i guess u think strong arm is ok. to abuse someone is ok. it isnt. and just cause u say u dont..someone else does in a company and u just verified it and excused it. u have a conflict of interest by telling anyone how to settle with a collection agency. u r one..therefore ur info is tainted to be in favor of u. conflict of interest! u r the fox in the chicken coop here and of course most dont care for u. ur very words show us why. esp by saying..no one need answer. ha ha. we can answer who we want ty very much. as little as i know..should i ever be able to settle im doin it with the original company i owe. and being very careful with it. ur psychological training comes forth in every statement u wrote. note.."i dont know ur reasons to settle besides doin the right thing" (prod prod to the concience) dont u know we can see thru u? "strong arm" talk about political correctness. call a spade a spade.
