Stop paying, don't bother vaidating.

Pull most of your $$ out of your bank accounts and put them under someone elses name (not your spouse) jointly, with that person as primary.

Tx is famous for pre filing freezes on bank accounts.

There is no wage garnishment in Tx and total homestead exemption, unless you are rich with assailable assets they won't sue. ( that is if you hide your $$$)
