Sorry, I originally posted as Anon on 1/21(sorry it was in all caps--I'm new to this). I live in Kentucky and recently received a alias summons stating that a suit had been filed against me for a Chase Manhattan CC (last activity was Oct 1994). First of all, the suit was filed in a county in which I have never lived. I answered the suit with the statue of limitations defense, asked that the case be dismissed and sent it by certified mail to both the court and the attorney for Asset. A week later I received a Request for Admissions from their attorney. It requests that I admit/deny all their claims plus it says I have to supply them with my personal info such as SS#, drivers license, bank info, etc. I denied all claims in the answer I have already filed. Do I have to respond to this??? What can I expect when I go to court???
