Forget about the credit card and other debt. Your Mother needs help to get the best quality of life out of the time she has left. She will live longer and happier if she is allowed to stay in her home. Hospice care is available and they will help her maintain herself in her own home.

The creditors will have to file a claim with the estate, and if there are no assets that will be the end of that. No one else is responsible for those debts.
