I am sorry for just now gettin back into the loop with this, but it was for something different altogether. This is for an acct that is within the SOL, however what are my options regarding the information being incorrect as to amount or whatever. I am sorry to say, I got the letter from the CA attny, the CA was Asset Acc., and they are a bunch of idiots anyway, however, the amt on the civil suit is only about a fourth of what the original w/o was. The acct date and everything else is correct. I am assuming it is too little too late to try and get validation, should I just be thankful for the error and pay it, or can I use their ignorance to my advantage without giving them the heads up on what they are missing out on? I don't want to keep putting too much info about it here, to avoid just that. Thanks.
