Am I right in assuming that the state of virginia will not be "looking" for him because filing a civil/criminal charge would have rested on the shoulders of the OCs? I imagine if Virginia had a warrant out for him that they would have at least had the intellingence to look at tax payor/fliing info and could have easily tracked us down. The check amounts were very piddly, but they did add up. This all happened during one stupid, stupid week. JBC is such a wacko operation. It amazes me that they tacked on the $250 per check charge NOW in a second round letter I received, when I had assumed that action was something that would only happen 30 days after ORIGINAL collection failed. However up until a few weeks ago, the amount due on the checks was the original amount, plus $35 each. WTF? What a scam. I truly wish I could make things right with the OCs, but I will not pay JBC. Thanks for your help!
