What is less than clear are the papers you should have received as part of the suit. In California, a defedant should receive the Complaint and the Summons.

What have you received? You should have received a letter, from the Assest Acceptance attorney, prior to the filing of the suit. This letter should have offered debt validation.

So, I don't know what kind of advice to give. I have no clear understanding of it.
