Iam in California, 3 year old c.c. debt.

From a attorney, I recieved 2 letters in one envelope, 1 letter is a proof of service of (notice of case management review) and it does have a case no.
#2 letter is from the Superior Court of Calif. NOTICE OF CASE MANAGEMENT REVIEW-LIMITED CIVIL. Review in
4 months, (No Appearance is Necessary).

Its been over 30 days ago. I did not know I was being Sued. I never received a Complanint and Summons. and was never served.

I called the Court House and no proof of service was ever recorded. The Clerk told me I was sued last Nov.03
and nothing else has been filed by the attorney.

What should I do? Filing an answer is $149.00 and if I dont show up Iam sure to get a judgement against me and if I do go Iam sure they will get a judgement against me.

By them not serving me can they go forward on this? Help...
