bounced checks

i've been so worried about cc debt that i've neglected to check in on my checking status. i have no bounced checks that i know of, but i just want to double check.
i also want to check for things such as speeding ticekts or parking tickets that i may have brushed aside and forgotten. now that i know that bench warrants can be set for people who unknowingly have any of the above mentioned negatives, i want to check, i guess what would be my criminal record. i've received one speeding ticket and a couple of bounced checks ALL back in college, but i just want to be sure. does anyone know where i can check my own criminal record for these things? i think i've read on previous posts that you can check these 'public records', but i have no idea how to go about this. As for my shermanhating, i received a new letter today from sherman, this one is from a 'receivables specialist' out of FL. i'm concerned though because i've heard nothing from any CA for about 6 mos. however, i opted out around Christmas and since then, i have this new correspondence from sherman. i also got a letter from Ass*&# Acceptance for an acct. they took control of Nov.1 (info from CR)but didn't get anything from until now. is there any correlation of my opting out and these new contacts? might this have "awoken the sleeping dogs" (or whatever :) ). Should i continue to lay below the radar? thanks to all.............
