my daughter lives up there. small world! from how it sounds ur way past the SOL. also they should be off ur reports too..7 yrs? i know the driving up there too. my son in law has a school loan that he had not paid on and they took their income tax refund. it is now straightened out and they let them have deferrals for a year at a time. hopefully by next year things will be good enuff so they can start re-paying it. something u might try! the deferral i mean lol not the paying. oops. that came out all wrong. i also know the "nursed out" u speak of,. me too. altho we do what we must and yes u would, as would i. i dont see why u need to clear the debts? they should be way off and yes some will buy them and want u to pay but its a time barred debt. u dont have to but write and tell them that. whychat has letters for that on this site. the car is next on my kids list too as this one has no heater and its got like 200,000 miles on it lol. again i will keep u in myprayers:)
