Interest and penalities are added even after charge off. My credit card debt balances had about doubled when I finally filed bk. which was very close to SOL in my state. (4 years) To me that is the true unjustice of it all. It was a big part of the reason I was unwilling to even attempt a repayment plan. Fair is fair and that just wasn't fair.
